Sunsrce VMI/Delivery Driver at SunSource operates company vehicles to pick up and deliver merchandise safely and on schedule. The role includes loading/unloading, obtaining signatures/payments, and maintaining vehicle and customer service standards.
Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles safely
Load and unload merchandise on vehicles
Obtain signatures and/or payments upon delivery
Follow assigned delivery schedules
Report accidents per company policies
Maintain vehicle appearance and report maintenance needs
Observe traffic laws and regulations
Maintain neat personal appearance and courteous customer service
Inform supervisor of shortages, overages, damaged merchandise, and unresolved complaints
Maintain warehouse and stockyard housekeeping
Assist in stock transfer process
Comply with safety regulations on customer property
Qualification
One year driving experience preferredAbility to operate a Ford F550Successfully pass company driving testHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to read
