Software Engineer - XIL Platform

Required

• Professional C++ experience building and maintaining libraries and test frameworks — not just modifying existing code. Our framework is C++ end to end: test fixtures, simulators, monitors, and every test case. This includes fluency with GoogleTest or an equivalent (fixtures, parameterized tests) and diagnosing flaky, timing-sensitive failures. You will write C++ on day one.
• Deep understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and simulation testing strategies, particularly for safety-critical systems.
• Python and Bash for CI tooling, bench automation, and scripting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and principles. Direct experience with Buildkite is a plus.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot physical test benches, including reading electrical schematics and using lab tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCAN adapters.
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code and environment management tools (specifically Nix, or similar tools like Docker/Ansible) to ensure reproducible test environments.
