Vaxcyte The Manager, Facilities Engineering manages maintenance and improvement of office and laboratory facilities. This role oversees facility engineers and technicians, optimizes facility layout, and ensures operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage the facility engineer’s and facility technician’s day-to-day tasks and development
Manage all corrective maintenance for all facility assets
Oversee and maintain the PM schedule for all facility assets
Determine facility and lab equipment specifications and requirements
Analyze project costs and help prepare draft budgets
Support developing specifications and implementation of facility and lab equipment
Qualification
Associate degree in mechanicalExperience with AutoCADProject management skills
Required
Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
At least 5-7 years of experience as facilities engineer, biotechnology metrology or in a similar role. At least 2-3 years’ experience in leadership.
Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and CMMS systems.
Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
