Aircompany Engineer I at Aircompany supporting process and project design engineering with emphasis on process development, documentation, and flow development. Hands-on role partnering with scientists, engineers, and operations.
Responsibilities
Build hands-on familiarity with AIRCO’s lab and pilot plant operations through structured onsite training and project work
Work with Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop process flow schemes
Work under the direction of Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop engineering design templates
Work with Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop engineering tools for equipment design
Review data, schematics, drawings, and process documentation for accuracy and quality.
Support senior engineers on cross-functional development projects and technical problem-solving
Support evaluation of new process technologies and development of process solutions
Analyze data and communicate findings and recommendations through written summaries and verbal updates
Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering design standards/guidelines, as well as, environmental, health and safety regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
0 to 2 years of relevant industry, internship, co-op, or research experience
Exposure to process development, pilot plant operations, scale-up, or process engineering

Required
Familiarity with common engineering, modeling, and data analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Python, Matlab, Aspen, or similar tools is a plus
Exposure to catalysis, separations, thermal processes, or related chemical engineering concepts
