We are seeking a strategic and analytically minded Director of Product Marketing, Customer Market Insights to build and lead our Voice of the Market function. This leader will own the programs, processes, and intelligence systems that help us deeply understand customers, competitors, analysts, and market dynamics—and translate those insights into winning positioning, messaging, thought leadership, product strategy, and go-to-market execution.

This role will serve as the connective tissue between Product Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, ensuring that decisions are informed by real customer needs and evolving market conditions.

The ideal candidate combines traditional market intelligence expertise with a modern AI-first approach, leveraging technologies such as Gong, Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI-powered research tools to scale insight generation and uncover strategic opportunities.

This role will initially manage one direct report, a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on Competitive Intelligence, with the opportunity to build a broader insights organization over time.

What You’ll Accomplish

Build and Lead the Voice of the Market Program

Establish and scale a company-wide Voice of the Market strategy that captures customer, prospect, partner, analyst, and industry insights.

Develop systematic approaches to collecting, synthesizing, and operationalizing customer feedback.

Create repeatable programs that ensure customer and market insights directly influence product strategy, positioning, messaging, and GTM priorities.

Serve as the organization s expert on customer needs, buying behavior, market trends, and emerging opportunities.

Own Customer Insights and Research

Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research programs, including customer interviews, win/loss analysis, surveys, advisory boards, and market studies.
