Vestwell Senior Product Manager to lead the build of a prepaid tuition 529 program platform from discovery through launch. Own complex functional areas and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a greenfield product with a fixed deadline.
Responsibilities
Own the most complex functional areas end to end from discovery to launch
Develop product requirements, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases
Build strong relationships with operations, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders
Set standards for product work and guide other PMs
Translate program goals and stakeholder needs into buildable features
Qualification
Ability to work in a fast-paced529
Required
5+ years of Product Management experience, including owning a large, cross-functional initiative end to end
Experience building complex financial or transaction-based systems (e.g., recordkeeping, payments, ledgers)
Exceptional business and systems analysis skills
Ability to thoroughly understand and document business/functional requirements and business use cases
Experience driving the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment and meet deadlines under tight time constraints
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface with internal stakeholders, executives, and external clients
Experience with SQL and data integrations (e.g., APIs, JSON, XML, file-based integrations)
Experience mentoring or guiding other PMs
529, ABLE, or other government savings program experience
