What's new

You're on LumiJobs v1.2.0 · build 85baef5c.

v1.2.0

CurrentNovember 5, 2026

Quicker ways to act on a job, and fewer dead listings

  • NewEach job card has a ⋯ menu: mark a job as already applied, hide it, or report a problem without opening it.
  • ImprovedReporting a listing is clearer: pick from eight reasons, such as a fake job, wrong details, or a job that isn't in the U.S.
  • ImprovedJobs that have closed on the company's own site are removed every day, and re-posted jobs keep working with their new link.
  • NewMore companies: we now find new employers every night from jobs we already list.
  • NewGraduates can add a personal email to keep their account after their school email ends.
  • ImprovedCareer services portal: a cleaner dashboard and sidebar, and the risk and recommended cards always explain what they show.
  • FixedCareer services: outcomes table headers, industry labels and audit trail details are easier to read.

v1.1.2

October 29, 2026

Lumi is more accurate about jobs and visa sponsorship

  • FixedWhen a job posting doesn't mention visa sponsorship, Lumi now says "not stated" instead of telling you the job won't sponsor.
  • FixedIf Lumi can't find jobs at the company you asked about, it now tells you so instead of describing other companies' jobs.
  • FixedLumi no longer presents a job's general score as your personal match, and never says it saved or applied to a job for you.
  • ImprovedClear messages when a chat message is too long or you're sending messages too quickly.

v1.1.1

October 29, 2026

Search is about twice as fast

  • ImprovedSearches for common words like "engineer" or "manager" are about twice as fast, and the slowest ones up to four times faster.
  • ImprovedBetter order: a job whose title or listed skills match your search comes before one that only mentions it in the description.

v1.1.0

October 29, 2026

Search that understands how you search

  • NewCommon abbreviations work: SWE, SDE, PM, ML, DS, BI, QA, UX, Sr, Jr and more. "sr swe" finds Senior Software Engineer roles.
  • NewRelated roles: searching "data analyst" also shows Business Analyst and BI Analyst roles, below the exact matches.
  • NewType a place or "remote" in the search box: "data analyst in Dallas", "python remote".
  • ImprovedWords like "jobs" or "roles" in a search no longer narrow your results.

v1.0.5

October 28, 2026

Typos find the real roles, even when some listings share the typo

  • ImprovedWhen a search returns only a few jobs, the closest matching job titles are now added below them. Searching "product manger" now also shows Product Manager roles, not only the listings that contain the same typo.

v1.0.4

October 27, 2026

Typos rank the right jobs first

  • ImprovedWhen a search looks like a typo, jobs whose title is the closest match now come first, ahead of jobs that only mention the misspelled words in their description.

v1.0.3

October 27, 2026

Smarter search: companies, typos and visa sponsorship

  • ImprovedSearch by company name: "Google" or "Stripe" now shows that company's own jobs first.
  • ImprovedSmall typos still find jobs: "data analyts" now shows Data Analyst roles.
  • ImprovedType "h1b", "opt" or "visa sponsorship" in search to see only jobs that sponsor, for example "data analyst h1b".
  • FixedSearches containing % or _ now match those characters exactly.

v1.0.2

October 27, 2026

Search finds jobs across the whole catalogue

  • FixedSearching on the Jobs page (for example "data analyst") now searches every job, not just the jobs already in your recommendations, so roles outside your profile show up.

v1.0.1

October 27, 2026

Liked and Applied counts always match the list

  • FixedThe Liked count no longer reads one short right after you save a job, or one too high right after you unsave one.
  • FixedUnsaving a job now sticks. Some older saved jobs used to come back after you refreshed the page.

v1.0.0

October 27, 2026

Version numbers, and your saved jobs, all of them

  • NewLumiJobs now has version numbers and this What's new page, so you can see exactly what changed and when.
  • FixedLiked and Applied now show every job you've saved or applied to. Before, jobs that had dropped out of your recommendations were counted but not listed.
  • ImprovedLiked and Applied load 50 jobs at a time as you scroll, with no limit, and the count always matches the list.
  • ImprovedJob pages that have closed now say so clearly, and still show similar open roles.
  • ImprovedUniversities that request a demo get an email confirming their request, with a link to explore the live demo.
  • FixedJob pages no longer glitch on iPhone when a description contains a phone number or address.
